On Sunday evening, Cora figured out how to roll over! She is 5 weeks old now and still amazing us every day!

Baby Cora made her entrance into the world on Sunday, April 13th at 4:56 am. She weighed 8 pounds 4.4 ounces and was 20 and 1/4 inches long. Both Mama and Cora are doing great with Super-Daddy taking care of them.

We are now registered for the Baby! We spent the afternoon looking at lots of different baby items. Our registries are available in the store and on-line at: BabiesRUs, Target and Walmart....

After a long time of infrequent updates, we have decided to convert the site to a full content management system. Hopefully this will mean that the site will be more interactive for site visitors, and also easier to maintain and update.

Lauran has had another piece of music accepted for publication! "God's Own Child" for 3-5 octaves of handbells has been accepted by CPH and will come out in 2008. This is one of Lauran's favorite hymns and she is excited that she will be able to share her arrangement with others.

Patrick is 26 today!

After 7 years of college, and two days of comprehensive exams, Lauran has completed all of the requirements for the Masters of Church Music degree with an emphasis in Handbells.

Having gained the terminal degree in handbell studies, She is pleased to end her educational career.

For this coming year, Concordia Publishing House has selected one of Lauran's handbell arrangements for publication!

It is an arrangement of the hymn "Stricken, Smitten and Afflicted." Lauran has already heard her arrangement played by two different bell choirs, and now it will be accessable to bell choirs across the nation.

This is the first piece of Lauran's music that will be published, and we are both very excited about it. We hope to see more of her music in publication soon!
